Day City Itinerary
1st day PALERMO Arrival at Palermo airport. Check in at the hotel in the charming city of Palermo (on request a private transfer possibilities). In the late afternoon meeting with the guide, dinner and overnight.
2nd day PALERMO - MONREALE The tour of Sicily begins. After breakfast, visit of Palermo, the Arab-Norman architecture route and Unesco World Heritage Site which includes the Royal Palace with the Palatine Chapel, the church of San Giovanni degli Eremiti, the Cathedral, the church of St. Mary's (called “Martorana”) and San Cataldo church. The tour continues, through Piazza Vigliena (Quattro Canti) and the Fontana Pretoria.
At lunch there is a pleasant culinary surprise at the historic "Antica Focacceria San Francesco".
In the afternoon continuation to Monreale and the visit of its magnificent Cathedral (Unesco Heritage), called the eighth wonder of the world, whose interior is completely covered with gold mosaics in which are represented scenes from the Bible and visit the beautiful Chiostro dei Benedettini, wondrous masterpiece of sculpture and inlay of precious stones!
Transfer to the hotel. Dinner at the charming historic house "Palazzo Asmundo" enlivened with songs and music by a Sicilian folk group. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, departure to discover Cefalu, a beautiful medieval-looking fishing village overlooking the Mediterranean, which offers a wonderful art show of lights and colors. Around the streets of the old town you will visit the wonderful Arab-Norman cathedral, the adjacent cloister and the medieval wash. Lunch at a typical Sicilian restaurant.
In the afternoon continuation to Piazza Armerina, to discover the wonderful mosaics of Villa Romana del Casale, from late imperial era and Unesco Heritage, full of hunting and entertainment scenes, mythological episodes and scenes of everyday life.
After the visit, departure to Taormina. Accommodation in hotel in Taormina area. Dinner and overnight.


After breakfast, pick up at the hotel and Jeep Tour to discover Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will discover the famous Silvestri Craters, a typical flora extremely varied and rich in protected species, with the various lava flows that overlap each other.
Continuation to Taormina, famous for its natural landscapes, marine beauty, its historical monuments and its unforgettable view across the bay of Giardini Naxos with privileged views of Mount Etna. Lunch at a typical Sicilian restaurant.
Then visit of the fascinating Greek-Roman Theatre. Free time to walk along the charming narrow streets of historic medieval flavor.
Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

5th day TAORMINA - SIRACUSA - NOTO - RAGUSA After breakfast, transfer in the direction of Siracusa, a UNESCO Heritage Site, to visit the largest and most powerful Greek colony in Sicily. The visit will begin in the Archeological Park with its splendid Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Latomie del Paradiso and the suggestive Ear of Dionysius.
Continuation to Ortigia, where you will be enchanted by the beautiful square in the Duomo with its magnificent cathedral which once was a greek Doric temple. You will continue through the narrow streets of the old town, up to the Arethusa Source of mythological memory. Free lunch.
In the afternoon the tour continues to explore Noto, capital of Sicilian Baroque.
Continuation to Ragusa.
Accomodation at the Hotel. Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, visit the old town of Ragusa, Unesco Heritage and birthplace of the late Sicilian Baroque, with its beautiful churches and the Hyblean Garden unveiled by Camilleri and the TV drama “Commissario Montalbano”.
Then transfer to Agrigento and visit the famous Valley dei Templi, a UNESCO World Heritage site where among the almond trees are the remains of the ancient Akragas, described by Pindar as the most beautiful city built by mortals.
Lunch at restaurant in the modern city.
Transfer at a time of Marsala. Accomodation at the Hotel. Dinner and overnight.

7th day

SELINUNTE - MARSALA - ERICE - PALERMO After breakfast, tansfer to Selinunte for a fascinating walk through the remains of the ancient Greek city and its temples located in the largest archaeological park in the Mediterranean and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Sicilian tour continues with the visit of the lovely town of Marsala and along the famous Via del Sale to admire the islands of the Stagnone and the salt flats which are a great natural reserve of great environmental value. Lunch at the famous Trattoria del Sale.
In the afternoon continuation to Erice and visit of the beautiful medieval town at about 750m high. Continuation to Palermo.
Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

8th day
